Most identity systems are built from the institution inward: each one records the fragment of a person it needs, and the person never sees the whole. PONALO inverts that.
Position
An infrastructure company.
PONALO is not an app that aggregates statements, and not a credit bureau with a friendlier interface. It is the relationship layer between verified people and the institutions that know them — a permission-controlled map of the significant relationships surrounding one identity, with the provenance and status of each.
The same core serves three audiences through different permissions: Passport for people and families, Connect for institutions, and Sovereign for government. There is one platform state and three authorised views onto it. Update once, reflect everywhere authorised — and nowhere else.
We start in South Africa because the problem is acute here and the regulatory ground is well defined. The architecture is jurisdiction-aware from the first line: each new country arrives as a Country Pack, not a rebuild.
